Our guide, Susan was phenomenal. She is well versed in Chinese history and religious symbolism. She shared many interesting facts and explained the significance of many innate details that I would’ve otherwise overlooked. Susan also ensured that our needs were taken care of, such as stopping at a rest stop for my daughter and supplying us with water on a balmy day. She is phenomenal!

We spent a wonderful full day visiting the Terracotta Army, the Xi’an City Wall and the Muslim Street Market with Addison. Addison had a wonderful sense of humor, spoke excellent English and provided us with great history lessons about Xi’an, plus… he knew all the tricks and shortcuts for getting through the lines and getting tickets. The transportation was excellent and the lunch/restaurant was delicious and very unique. We would highly recommend booking a trip with Addison and his company.

This tour was great! Grace is an excellent guide with wide knowledge about Xi‘an. She is caring a lot for her customers and I liked very much that the day could be adjusted due to my wishes. I can highly recommend that tour and looking forward to the next trip with Grace.

This private tour was enjoyable and truly amazing four the whole family. Our guide was experienced, knowledgeable and professional. The purchase of tickets and registration was navigated with ease. The three pits were toured as our guide displayed in depth local knowledge. We had a photo with Mr Yang, who found the Warriors in 1974. The Qin-Themed meal with costumes and period ceremony was a hit with the family. The food was delicious. The tour of the city wall and Great Mosque were likewise informative and enjoyable. I heartily recommend this tour as an extremely well thought out day trip from central Xian. The day end back in the ancient city. The guide spoke excellent English and the minibus was comfortable.

This has been by far my best experience with a tour guide, ever. Addison is very friendly and knowledgeable on Chinese history. He is too shy to admit it but his english is excellent. Going to see the Terracotta warriors was an incredible experience. You will also go to the city wall, and walk around the Muslim quarters. And oh yes, a wonderful Qin style meal, wow...wonderful food. The only thing I would change is that I wish I could have shared this wonderful experience with my friends or family!

We were very fortunate that Our travel agent arranged our trip to China through COSMOS. I highly recommend COSMOS as your service provider in your travels from a staff expertise and price standpoint. Their service is a complete service starting from picking us up at the Airport, shuttling us to the various hotels, tourist sites, and restaurants, and bringing us back to the Airport. Their assistance in checking us in on the various airports (baggage check-ins, obtaining boarding passes, were all done by Maya, our Tour Director) were invaluable services in our view.

The choice of sites to visit were great. We got to see Shanghai, the financial center of China, XI'An, the cultural center of China, and Beijing, the political center of China. We got to see the Great Wall of China, the Terracotta warriors grave site, the famous (or infamous) Tien'Anmen Square, to name a few.

The Hotels and restaurants were all very good. We got to taste a number of genuine Chinese cuisines ( Try the Peking Duck if you are ever in China) and Maya and the Cosmo staff were always there to answer our questions and / or to explain a particular cuisine.

Our Tour Director, Maya, was a very knowledgeable and caring person. She was there to pick up at the airport, provided assistance in checking us in at the various hotels and airports, explained the various Chinese delicacy in the various restaurants, and the shuttling to the various Tourist sites and restaurants. The places we visited were generally very crowded. How Maya managed not to lose any of us was amazing (I think you need to visit some of the sites like Tian'Anmen square to understand what I mean). Being first time visitors in China and having no idea about the language, customs, and its culture, the above services were very reassuring to us.
